Pest Control
Pest control services are offered within the RM of Cambria to control the population of rats and gophers. The appointed pest control officer will visit locations in the spring/summer and will provide product to affected sites.
Pest control supplies including Ratak, Ramik Green and Rozol can also be picked up at the RM office at no cost to ratepayers.

Noxious Weeds
The RM is responsible to provide services to eradicate noxious weeds, this is a cost share program between the rate payer and the RM. The two main noxious weeds within our RM are leafy spurge and field bineweed. If you know of any possible sightings of a noxious weed, please notify the office or our weed control officer, Bryan Tucker.

Fire Services
The R.M of Cambria has a joint agreement with the Village of Torquay to provide fire services to all residents of the RM and village. The fire hall and fast response equipment is located in the village. The RM has a mutual aid agreement with Midale Cymri Fire & Rescue to provide assistance as necessary. The fire department would like to remind our residents and ratepayers to make sure you have adequate fire insurance. The fire department encourages our residents and ratepayers to make sure you have adequate fire insurance to cover these costs
Police Services
Police services and resources are provided by the local RCMP detachment located in Estevan. If you require assistance or suspect any criminal activity, the contact number is 306.637.4400.
Dust Control
Each year the RM provides dust control services to occupied residents in the RM.
It is the responsibility of the ratepayer to notify the RM office if they are wanting to opt in to the dust control program.
APPLICATION:
The dust control program is typically performed in the month of May. A second application is applied in July (or before harvest season).
Dust control will be applied at a width of 650 feet unless extra feet is requested.
Generally the product used is magnesium chloride unless otherwise stated.
If required, dust control sites will be gravelled early in the spring to aid in the stabilization of the driving surface.

A waiver of conditions must be filled out and received by the admin staff before the RM will agree to provide dust control services.

1st priority is all bus routes.
2nd priority all roads that lead to occupied dwellings.
3rd priority remaining rm roads.
